Another quick pick-me-up is a nice cup of herbal tea (avoid black tea, as the caffeine will give you jolt of energy that is followed by a let-down of fatigue). Add a quarter teaspoon of ground cardamom to your tea and sip whenever you’re feeling sluggish.

Long Term Home Remedy for Energy

To get your body back on track and restore lost energy for the long term, be careful with your diet. Avoid sugary and starchy foods and focus on lean meats and lots of leafy greens. Also include fresh fruit and juices in your diet. Many people who are fatigued are low in iron, so red meats are particularly important.

A daily nap can give you a burst of energy late in the day, but only if you keep it short. Your best bet is an afternoon nap around 3:00 that doesn’t last longer than 20 minutes to a half hour. You’ll wake up feeling refreshed but not sluggish if you try this home remedy for energy loss.

Although it may sound strange, meditation can help with energy loss. Meditation relieves stress, and stress is a key culprit in energy loss, so try recharging your batteries by taking fifteen minutes to meditate in the afternoon. You’ll be amazed by how much more energy you have after meditating!
